Fully rebuilt like the rest of the vehicle. All critical and worn out parts have been replaced and installed according to the OEM manuals.

Obsoloscence management is a key issue with this engine as most of the key elements are no longer available, but all worn out elements such as crankshaft and main bushings are removed and replaced with new ones thanks to the availability and access to rare stocks. The ignition timing and final adjustment of the K-Jetronic components are accurate and help obtain a smooth engine operation.
